Fastmail - Connect Mailreef Mailboxes

Learn how to connect your Mailreef mailboxes to Fastmail's platform

To connect your Mailreef mailboxes to Fastmail under IMAP...

For IMAP:

  1. Log into your Fastmail account.

  2. Navigate to your account settings by clicking on your account name in the top left corner of your screen.

  3. Navigate over to Migration on the left side bar.

  4. Click on "Other (IMAP / CarDAV / CalDAV)

  5. Enter the login information of the mailbox you wish to connect.

  6. Enter the IMAP host value for your server under the "Import mail (Via IMAP) section of this page and click "Log In"

  7. This will bring you to another page. Click on the "Keep Fetching" option to allow Fastmail to continuously pull messages from this IMAP connection

    And that's it!

For SMTP:

To connect a Mailreef mailbox under SMTP to Fastmail...

  1. Log into your Fastmail account.

  2. Navigate to your account settings by clicking on your account name in the top left corner of your screen.

  3. Navigate over to "My Email Addresses" on the left side bar

  4. Click on "+ Add Address"

  5. Click on "Add an Address you Already Own"

  6. Enter the address you want to connect via SMTP to Fastmail.

  7. Enter your Mailboxes SMTP server address & authentication information and hit save. Connect using SSL under port 465

    And that's it!
