Smartlead - Setup Custom Tracking Domain

Learn how to setup your custom tracking domain from Smartlead with your Mailreef domain.

For domains purchased through the Mailreef platform, Custom tracking domains can be added under the settings of your domain.

Add Your CNAME/Custom Tracking Domain

Note: This is only for domains purchased through Mailreef. If you have connected a domain to your Mailreef account, you will need to add this CNAME record under the DNS zone of your domain.

  1. Under the domains tab of your account, click into the domain you wish to setup a custom tracking domain.

  2. Click on "Custom Domain Tracking"

  3. Click on "Add custom domain tracking"
    ​

  4. Enter in your custom domain tracking Host / Subname and Value, then click "Add Custom Domain Tracking".

    1. Smartlead's custom domain tracking can be found below.
      ​
      ​Host: emailtracking
      ​Value: open.sleadtrack.com
      ​

  5. Once successfully added, your custom domain tab should look like this.

  6. Under your Smartlead account for your connected Mailbox, click on the "General" Tab.
    ​

  7. Scroll down to the bottom, and add your newly created tracking domain. If added successfully your CNAME should be successfully verified.
